4^th Annual Sunday News Student Press Awards

     Open to all Lancaster County high school newspaper publications.  All those that participate will be represented in this special section printed on June 7 in the Sunday News.

Baseball in Education (BIE) Day!

     Baseball in Education Day is a day with the Barnstormers at Clipper Stadium filled with educational activities for students.  Students will be given a baseball-themed educational workbook. Activities led by I.M. Fun will be completed between innings. The gates open at 10:00 AM and game time is at 11:05 AM.

Letters to the First Family 

     Students across Lancaster County were invited to write a letter to the new First Family about their hopes and dreams for our country.

51^st Intelligencer Journal

Spelling Bee 

     Amy Gormley of Gormley Home School won the 51^st Intelligencer Journal Spelling Bee on Friday, March 13 at Conestoga Valley Middle School.  Amy will be traveling to Washington D.C., to compete in SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee from May 24-30.
